- PANORAMIC X-RAY
This x-ray captures all of the teeth, top and bottom, in one image. It will show us if there are any missing teeth, extra teeth, the position and development of un-erupted teeth and root formation. It also helps identify potential problems in the jaw joints and nasal septum.
- CEPHALOMETRIC X-RAY
This x-ray is taken of your profile, the side of your head. This not only shows if your front teeth are tipped in or out, but also shows the relationship of the Upper jaw bone to the Lower jaw bone and the Upper and Lower jaw bones to the skull. This helps us know what kind of growth has occured and what type of growth is likely to occur in the future. In other words, if there is a potential growth or jaw problem.
